# Public IDO FAQ **What is your token?**\ Token: SOLR and is a native SPL token on the Solana blockchain.\ \ **Where are you doing the IDO?**\ It will be on our own launchpad: SolRazr’s public IDO will be the first IDO on our launchpad. **What are some important dates to note?** 1. KYC for whitelist closes on — **2nd Oct, 5pm UTC** 2. KYC verification and lottery — **3rd Oct to 5th Oct** (we will reach out to individuals during this time if we need further info for KYC) 3. IDO — **6th Oct, 12pm UTC** **How/when will I know if I have won the lottery?**\ If you have submitted KYC, you will enter the final whitelist lottery pool (subject to KYC verification). Lottery winners are announced on the day of IDO. You will be able to check if you have won an allocation by simply connecting your wallet. **Is my slot confirmed in the public sale if I have won the lottery?**\ On the day of IDO, if you won the lottery, your slot is confirmed. You will be able to immediately participate in the token sale. **When will I know the KYC verification status?**\ KYC verification is internal and combined with the lottery. You will enter whitelist lottery pool upon successful internal verification of KYC. You will know your lottery status on the day of IDO. **Why is KYC required?**\ KYC is to only have genuine users as part of our lottery. We want to remove fake submissions. KYC will make the IDO fair. **Is my KYC data secure? What happens to the KYC data after IDO?**\ Your data is safe and secure. After consulting our legal team and investors, the recommendation is to have KYC to make sure every IDO participant has been vetted for participation and to be legally compliant. **How do you select the final list of participants who can take part in the IDO?**\ Lottery from the eligible list of whitelist applications.
